On April 12, 2014 Floyd E. Miller was elected to the Texas Publishers Association officer role as Secretary.  Mr. Miller background has been in the registered investment and insurance business since 1983.  On Mothers Day 2005 the fist issue of the West Texas Tribune was published. 

The West Texas Tribune is a community based newspaper.
